Midwest Officials Associations thanks you for being part of another
great year of high school officiating for the Omaha area schools. Your
hard work and commitment to the game helped MOA have another successful
year. However, just like your constant desire to improve as an official,
MOA desires to improve as an organization and to improve overall
officiating.
Listed below are a few of the actions MOA took this year to try to meet
everyones goal of continued improvement:
- Added varsity contests to the games assigned by MOA
- Launched
www.midwestofficials.org as a resource and communication tool
- Continued the summer officiating camps and in season mentoring
program
- Evaluated over 100 MOA members
- Provided opportunities for camaraderie among officials
- Sought open and honest input from members
Looking to the future, we plan on continuing the above activities but
would like to hear from you on other ways we can continue to improve as
an association. Please feel free to contact me or any board member with
ideas for improvement.
Finally, even though this past season just ended a month ago, MOA has
started to receive schedules for next years games and is planning to
complete assignments for the majority of next years games before the end
of this school year. That being the case, MOA would needs to receive
your availability as soon as possible. Please complete the enclosed
availability and return it to the above address as soon as
possible. This will allow MOA to pass out
your schedules at our pre-season meeting.
If you ordered a jacket from MOA and didnt pay please put the
association fees and jacket payment all in one.
Again, thank you for a great year and have a safe summer.
